Product Detail Information
The second album of Inushiki's revival! After omnivorously devouring reggae, funk, soul, dance, world music, and a wide variety of other musical styles,
INUSHIKI INU-SHIKI has landed barefoot on the rock horizon with this album from 2024. A tribute to his friends who protect the water sources in Tohoku.
Profile: INUSHIKI
Formed around 1999 by Yohei Miyake (G, Vo), Seitaro Mine (G), and Shoji Ishiguro (Bass), all students at Waseda University.
Around the same time, Miyake's colleague from his part-time job, Kazunari Kakinuma (Dr.) joined the group. With Kichijoji as the core, the band's activities expanded throughout Tokyo and the rest of the country.
Indie debut on Kora label in 2002.
2003 Major label debut on Victor label
In 2004, became independent label “Provincia Records”.
With a unique sound based on reggae and rock music, and a variety of world music, they have been touring throughout the country.
Stopped activities in 2009.
Members started their own solo activities and band activities.
2017: Reunited and resumed live performances.
April 2022 Released their first album in 13 years, “Animal Manifesto”.
March 2024 New album “Shinyi no Kaze” released.
