Record Store Day 2013, thanks to all who came to the shop. (23/04/2013 @ 08:20:51)
We would like to thank all the customers who came to our shop on Saturday for Record Store Day 2013. We had a phenomenal turnout and really appreciate not just the fact that so many people turned up, but that everyone queued patiently for their chance to get to the counter with their own individual wishlist. We tried to order as much stock as possible and it seemed as though many people managed to get what they wanted. The weather was also very kind to us again this year, which also helps when you are stood outside in a queue. The regular Crash staff were in attendance (Ian, Paul, Scott, Melissa and Gavin) but we were also joined by ex member of staff Karis who made a special trip up from London to help us out, as well as Jason and Emma who also volunteered their services. This helped ensure that the day ran as smoothly as it can do when several hundred people are all wanting to get served at the counter! In the morning we served refreshments in the basement and would like to thank Yorkshire Tea and Tim Burgess for very kindly donating tea and coffee to us. The afternoon saw a couple of free gigs downstairs by Dog Is Dead and Evile. We would like to thank everyone who helped make that happen. Most of all though we are grateful for the support of our customers not just on Record Store Day but throughout the year.

Ordering gig tickets from Crash Records. (24/09/2009 @ 13:05:10)
It's that time of year where there are quite a few new people that have moved to Leeds, so here are a some helpful bits of information about buying gig/event tickets from us: All tickets include a booking fee (usually about 10%). Tickets can be bought in our shop at 35 The Headrow (opposite Primark) or online. Paying cash in the shop is the cheapest way as there is a small additional charge for paying by card. We almost always have the tickets that we sell in stock, which means that you get them straight away. When ordering online you can choose the first class post option, special delivery, collect at Crash, or collect at the venue (not available for all venues). If you collect from the shop please bring the card with you that was used for the transaction. We constantly update our site with new gigs, and information about forthcoming concerts and events, and we also have a printable sheet of the tickets we sell on the left hand side of this page. We are always happy to help with any customer enquiries by email or over the phone (0113 243 6743). Opening hours for the shop are Monday - Saturday 9:30am - 6:00pm, Sunday 11:00am - 4:00pm. The website, of course, never closes!

Please be aware that unless the registered post option is used we cannot be held responsible for non delivery of tickets by the Royal Mail, and we are not able to issue refunds or replacement tickets if they fail to be delivered. If you have any concerns about postal deliveries at your address please either use the registered post option, or collect your tickets from the shop or the venue. Also, please ensure that you give us an email address that you check regularly. If there are any problems with your order that is how we will be contacting you.WE DO RECOMMEND THE COLLECT AT CRASH OPTION AS THE BEST WAY TO BUY TICKETS ON THE WEBSITE. EVEN IF YOU HAVE USED THE REGISTERED POST OPTION THERE IS ALWAYS THE POSSIBILITY THAT THE PROMOTER WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REPLACE TICKETS THAT HAVE GONE MISSING IN THE POST.
