12 days of Christmas. Some very special vinyl releases on sale in the shop/online. (26/11/2014 @ 11:05:27)
We will be taking part in Universal Music's 12 Days of Christmas promotion which features a range of very limited, highly collectable vinyl editions, which will only be available in selected independent record shops. The campaign begins on December 1st, with one new release made available on each day (excluding Sunday 7th) until the 13th. Highlights of the series include the December 1st release of a Metallica 12-inch limited edition of ‘Lords Of Summer’; the December 2nd appearance of a seven-inch of the Beatles’ 1964 EP ‘Long Tall Sally’; a Wings double A-side seven-inch of ‘Let ‘Em In’ and ‘Beware My Love’ on the 4th and another vinyl single featuring ‘Letting Go’ a week later; and releases by Bon Jovi, Weezer and Imagine Dragons. There will also be two new songs by St. Vincent, pressed on a ten-inch disc in a die-cut, foil-embossed sleeve. The campaign ends on December 13th with the first release on vinyl of The Who’s new song from their ‘Who Hits 50!’ compilation, ‘Be Lucky.’ Roughly half of the releases are via the Black Friday promotion in the US, but the remainder are UK exclusives. All stock will go on sale in the shop on the dates set out below. The Cockpit has closed with immediate effect (11/09/2014 @ 09:42:31)
As some of you are probably aware, The Cockpit has closed as a music venue after 20 years of putting on gigs in Leeds. Almost all of the gigs that were due to take place there have now been moved to other venues, including a brand new addition to the live music scene, The Key Club which will be owned and operated by the Slam Dunk team. If you have bought a ticket for a Cockpit gig and want to know where it has been moved to, just enter the name of the headline act into the search function and you will be redirected.
We would like to express our thanks to all the people who made The Cockpit such a special place for fans of live music during the last two decades. The venue may have closed, but it will always be a huge part of the musical history of Leeds.

Ordering gig tickets from Crash Records. (24/09/2009 @ 13:05:10)
It's that time of year where there are quite a few new people that have moved to Leeds, so here are a some helpful bits of information about buying gig/event tickets from us: All tickets include a booking fee (usually about 10%). Tickets can be bought in our shop at 35 The Headrow (opposite Primark) or online. Paying cash in the shop is the cheapest way as there is a small additional charge for paying by card. We almost always have the tickets that we sell in stock, which means that you get them straight away. When ordering online you can choose the first class post option, special delivery, collect at Crash, or collect at the venue (not available for all venues). If you collect from the shop please bring the card with you that was used for the transaction. We constantly update our site with new gigs, and information about forthcoming concerts and events, and we also have a printable sheet of the tickets we sell on the left hand side of this page. We are always happy to help with any customer enquiries by email or over the phone (0113 243 6743). Opening hours for the shop are Monday - Saturday 9:30am - 6:00pm, Sunday 11:00am - 4:00pm. The website, of course, never closes!

Tickets ordered on the website. Important please read. (19/10/2006 @ 13:37:56)
Please be aware that unless the registered post option is used we cannot be held responsible for non delivery of tickets by the Royal Mail, and we are not able to issue refunds or replacement tickets if they fail to be delivered. If you have any concerns about postal deliveries at your address please either use the registered post option, or collect your tickets from the shop or the venue. Also, please ensure that you give us an email address that you check regularly. If there are any problems with your order that is how we will be contacting you.WE DO RECOMMEND THE COLLECT AT CRASH OPTION AS THE BEST WAY TO BUY TICKETS ON THE WEBSITE. EVEN IF YOU HAVE USED THE REGISTERED POST OPTION THERE IS ALWAYS THE POSSIBILITY THAT THE PROMOTER WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REPLACE TICKETS THAT HAVE GONE MISSING IN THE POST.
