Great debut album from the London group who are bringing a new name to the experimental rock scen. Skating through Post-Punk, EDM, Hip-Hop and more, it ticks boxes for nearly everyone
Joel's Pick: Ultrasonic Grand Prix - Instafuzz
Little Barnie and Shawn Lee create a world as sonically trippy as the vintage guitars that inspired the project. Hypnotic grooves and fuzzed out moods along with uniquely pastoral spoken word passages that break up each track with real zest.
Paul's Pick: Gruff Rhys - Sadness Sets Me Free
25 albums in and Gruff's still got it. On his eight solo album it goes through all the motions with uplifting music, melconcholic lyrics with a hint of stoicism...

Jed's Pick: Brittany Howard - What Now?
Soulful, intimate and melodic the former Alabama Shakes singer brings a retro-soul feel, with hints of Prince and Stevie Wonder scattered throughout.
Paul's Pick: Idles - Tangk
A Slower and more comtemplative showing that the Bristol gang are maturing disgracefully. It still packs a punch as you would expect from these hardcore stalwarts.
Skye's Pick: Grandaddy - Blu Wav
A mash up of 'Bluegrass' and 'New-wave' brings a distinct feel to the record and amongst a period with a lot of Grandaddy reissues, this album can stand up with them.
Joel's Pick: Ghost Funk Orchestra - A Trip To The Moon
Big band horns with some psychedelic surf-rock sprinkled in for 15 songs with undiniably delectable groove. If you're a fan of Khruangbin, Los Bitchos and others you have to give this a try.
Scott's Pick: JB Dunckle - Aranormal Musicallity
Sneaking this gem in as it was a January release but the former Air man pays homage to his main source of musical expression with 18 hypnotic piano tracks.

A welcome return for Annie Clark in 'quirky alt-arty-pop with edge' mode. Self produced seventh albumfull of style and substance, that's musical widescreen treat.
Scott's Pick: Justice - Hyperdrama
Justice are back! Big electronic dance tounes to bring you into the Summer. Quality features from the likes of Tame Impala and Thundercat too. 13 tracks of pure classic Justice.
Matthew's Pick: Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard - Skinwalker
Buzzard have traded their double denim for fuzz pedals and have created a face-melting, riff filled album. An intensely fun listen.
Joel's Pick: Drahla - Angeltape
On their latest LP, Drahla give us an original and refreshing take on an already refeshingly angular sound, with flashes of that Berlin-era-Bowie flavour that got me hooked on the band orginally.
Skye's Pick - James - Yummy
Album number 18 from James; Tim Booth and Co are still bringing the feel good, indie dance pop songs ready for our summers.
El's Pick: Conan Gray - Found Heaven
Third studio album from Conan and brings an 80s pop revival feel to 2024 with influences from Elton John, David Bowie and more. Experimenting with his vocals like never before he puts his own twist on classical styles and sounds to make them his own.
Jed's Pick: Khruangbin - A La Sala
Album number four and Laura Lee, DJ and Marko have really brought the summer feel to 2024. Described as the morning after 'Moredechai' it has everything you want from the Khruangbin gang to get you ready for those summer days drinking cocktails.

An incredibly unique debut album from viral sensation Niko B. Witty, rough and charming lyrics backed by solid beats, a real fun listen!
Joel's Pick: La Luz - News of the Universe
Now on album number five, La Luz brings us that signature sound but built upon it and raised it to cosmic proportions. Expectet motorik rhythm, blissful harmony, soaring synths and wonderfully crafted songs throughout.
Paul's Pick: Danger Mouse & Jemini The Gifted One - Born Again
Woah! Always wonderedwhy there was never a follow up to the exceptional 'Ghetto Pop Life' when these guys were a perfect producer / MC combo together. Turns out there was and it's available at last they just waited nearly 20 years to release it for some reason! It slaps - obviously!
Skye's Pick: Camera Obscura - Look to the East, Look to the West
Eleven years from there last album and Camera Obscura are back with a balance of fresh indie-pop, fond memories and renewed energy, despite the tough times in the past, they look to the future to bring the best out of themselves.
