Deep Purple - BBC Sessions 68/70
This is the first time Deep Purple's surviving BBC sessions have been rounded up. Cutting their first session eve before their single Hush was released in summer of '68, the band were frequent visitors to the BBC Studios over the next two years. Several of the versions here have never been released or reissued before, others where never recorded elsewhere. The material ranges from energetic guitar heavy versions of early tracks through to a blistering set from the monumental Rock Album. This 2LP/2CD box set includes a detailed booklet with full session details and history.
