“’Sick Boi‘ was me challenging myself to create a hiphop only album, the album title based on my struggles with health over the past decade. I wanted to create an album that pushed my beat making and flow ability.”
Dubbed the “Tarantino of music" by his fans, 2023 is already a standout year for the emerging artist well known for recent release ‘Hi Ren’. The single is continuing its ascent and currently standing on an impressive array of statistics including 14 Million YouTube views and over 5 Million audio streams. Ren merges music, poetry and art throughout his releases, telling his stories and expressing his experiences and opinions in the most visionary and alluring way.
Endorsed by names such as The Prodigy, Limp Bizkit and The Verve, Ren's unique musical style has also resonated with millions across the globe and organically created a huge fanbase of hardcore, loyal supporters. Continuing to inspire his fans song after song, Ren references his ongoing battle with Lyme Disease, and brain damage which he is currently undergoing highly specialised daily treatment for in Canada.
