It Takes a Thief features 'Lebanese Blonde,' the beautiful track used on the Grammy award-winning Garden State Soundtrack, as well as Sound the Alarm, the funk-infused track that has become a staple opening track for the band's live shows. First time ever available on vinyl. This vinyl release is part of a larger lead up to a 2025 box set celebrating the band’s 30th anniversary.

Debuting in the mid-90s, Washington D.C’s Thievery Corporation became one of the most popular acts associated with chilled-out, lounge-friendly electronic music. The duo consists of Rob Garza and Eric Hilton whose musical style mixes elements of dub, acid jazz, reggae, Indian classical, Middle Eastern music, hip hop and Brazilian music, including bossa nova. After a dozen highly acclaimed full-length albums, remix LPs, concert recordings, and over two decades of incendiary live performances that have thrilled audiences worldwide, Thievery Corporation’s music and message is more relevant and important now more than ever.
