 Formed May 2017, Heavy Lungs have since been on arelentless warpath of shred. 2025 sees the cannonballarrival of their eagerly awaited sophomore record,‘Caviar’. This sub-thirty minute offering to theindifferent gods of rock was crafted in dark and dingychurch rehearsals and overpriced house shares.Shrouded in cigarette smoke and lit only by candlelightand the judgemental glow of the open fridge, the fourpiece put the function into their charming dysfunction. Motivated by the suffocating desire for fame andfortune, the Bristol foursome took no prisoners in theirambitious approach to recording. Tracking everythinglive to capture the raw intensity of their infamous,sweaty and cathartic live performances, the recordseamlessly ascends as a worthy addition to theiralready heavy arsenal of sonic artillery.

 A strong run of furious EPs released on BalleyRecords, all whilst performing alongside long termblood brothers IDLES, Oh Sees and Metz, causingirreparable tinnitus in the process. Iggy Pop givesthem regular spins on BBC 6 Music too. They arenotoriously described as “A LOUD BAND FROMBRISTOL.”

 Definitively demonstrating their amazing ability to notonly lock into, but also jump violently out of a groove,the band have boisterously filled their trolley to thebrim with the Beluga high grade ready to triumphantlyadminister to the world once more. It is, without adoubt, “The most Heavy Lungs record there is.”
