MOON (Haewon Moon Haewon Moon, Moon Hui Yeon). She debuted as a vocalist of Korean jazzy pop group WINTERPLAY.

She started her solo career in 2016. Her debut album "Kiss Me" (2018), released by Universal Music, made an impact in Japan,

reaching No. 1 on the iTunes Jazz Chart and No. 1 on the Pop Chart in Hong Kong, beating out Ariana Grande's new album,

which was released the same week. The latest release from this Asian diva is a collaboration with Tsuyoshi Yamamoto,

one of Japan's most popular pianists, who has captivated audiophiles as well as jazz fans, and is also immensely popular in Asia.

Moon's clear and transparent voice rises and falls on Tsuyoshi Yamamoto's renowned strong touch that covers everything from swing to ballads.

The program features a selection of Yamamoto's famous songs, including "Misty," a song that is synonymous with Yamamoto, the swinging "Twisted,"

and the melodious ballad "In the Middle of a Kiss. The album also includes Moon's original "Look to the Moon" (CD-only recording) for a total of 12 tracks.

This album is a must-listen for listeners who love jazz vocal masterpieces. An LP version will be released on the same day,

and is sure to be a popular album both in Japan and abroad. We cannot take our eyes off the birth of this powerful Asian tag-team that transcends national borders.
